State Budget Review Sheds Light on Process for Nonprofits


Statewide, January 23, 2023 – DANA, the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement, is hosting its annual review of the Governor’s Recommended Budget for FY24 on January 30, 2023, via a live webinar.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Governor’s priorities for the coming fiscal year and ask questions about how nonprofit concerns may be addressed.

Special guest Brenda Wise, Director of Policy and Communications at the Office of Management and Budget, will discuss what is behind the numbers and the trends for 2023. Senator Nicole Poore will also be on hand to talk about the Community Reinvestment Fund and process. Additionally, DANA staff and Senator Sarah McBride will be providing an update on one of their most anticipated initiatives: affordable healthcare for nonprofits.
